Entwickler Naughty Dog äußerte sich zum geplanten 1.11 Patch, der Ende Mai dieses Jahres für das PlayStation 3-exklusive Action-Adventure 'Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception' erscheinen soll. Das Verbesserungsprogramm bringt demnach einige kostenlose Inhalte mit sich, unter anderem den Elimination-Modus für den Multiplayer-Part des Spiels. Außerdem wird das so genannte "Lab" – bekannt aus Teil 2 - eingeführt, eine neue Playlist mit verschiedenen Spielvarianten für den Onlinemodus.

Überhaupt scheint sich der Patch weitestgehend um den Multiplayer-Modus von 'Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception' zu kümmern. So dürfen Hosts schon bald an vielen neuen Zahnrädchen während der Spielerstellung drehen. Beispielsweise kann ab Ende Mai die Respawn-Zeit eingestellt und die Health-Anzeige verändert werden. So genannte Rage Quits, bei denen Spieler aus Wut das Spiel verlassen, werden ab Patch 1.11 folgerichtig als Niederlage gewertet.

Das Changelog in der Übersicht:

The Lab returns and we begin the playlist with a T-bolt/Pistole-only map. We will be rolling out other game types as the year progresses.

If you leave a game, disconnect, or turn off your PS3 mid-game, it will be counted as a loss.

Kill and deaths no longer count towards your career stats in Plunder and Team Objective modes

The technical hooks to make the Game of the Year edition (EU) work properly with DLC were added

In Team Deathmatch mode the Airstrip and London maps now are listed with “No Intro” variations. If these variations are selected you’ll start those maps with no convoy events.

The Long Ranger Medal can now be earned by achieving 3 kills at 50 meters in a match instead of 3 kills at 70 meters.
